Last month, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had his Kansas City $6 million mansion ransacked by thieves. His teammate Patrick Mahomes saw his home robbed as well.
Worse, it appears to be the effort of some sort of international crime ring. Serious stuff.
Despite this, the pop star Taylor Swift still reportedly has every intention of spending the Christmas holiday – and more – at her boyfriend Kelce’s home.
Kelce And Mahomes Robbed
Police have yet to catch the thieves who targeted Kelce, 35, and Mahomes, 29. Among the items that were stolen were Kelce’s first-ever Super Bowl jersey, something that he is desperate to get back. The robbers also stole luxury watches and designer clothing as well as other memorabilia. In total, Kelce reportedly experienced losses of over $100,000.
The robbery appears to have been meticulously planned, as the thieves were in the home for less than 15 minutes. Kelce has reportedly beefed up his home security in the wake of this terrifying incident.
Kelce has yet to speak out publicly about his home being robbed. Mahomes, however, briefly addressed his own burglary during a press conference last month.
“It’s frustrating, it’s disappointing,” Mahomes admitted. “I can’t get into too many details because the investigation is still ongoing. It’s obviously something you don’t want happening to anybody, but especially yourself.”

Swift Undeterred
Swift, however, isn’t letting the robberies deter her from spending time as this Kansas City mansion with her boyfriend.
“She will be going to Kansas City and staying there for some time during the next few weeks to be with Travis and show him love and support,” an insider told The Sun. “She wants to witness another potential championship season for the Chiefs.”
Swift, 35, is enjoying some much-needed downtime after concluding her Eras Tour in Vancouver earlier this month. The insider said that the tour was the “most exciting” of her career, and that “she learned a lot.”
“Taylor is sad the tour is over because she had such a fantastic time, but she’s keen to spend some time away from the spotlight,” the source explained. “She wants to live the simple life for a while.”

Kelce’s Christmas Day Game
While Swift gets to relax, Kelce will be working on Christmas Day. Indeed, the Chiefs will be taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 25. This could end up being quite a clash, with the Chiefs going 12-1 and the Steelers 10-3 so far this season.
“Travis is the one that now has the busiest schedule of the two of them,” the insider said with a smile. “But she is happy they will spend time together, having nice dinners, relaxing, and baking. Christmas will be a special holiday for both of them.”
Around Kelce’s games, he and Swift will reportedly both be spending time with their respective families.
We can only hope that the thieves who targeted Kelce and Mahomes are caught as soon as possible. In the end, we also hope that they can all still enjoy their Christmases!
