Yesterday, we reported that Tom Brady had sent his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen his best wishes after she gave birth to a baby boy with her Jiu-Jitsu instructor boyfriend Joaquim Valente. Now, Brady is opening up to reveal the “secret to being loved.”
Tom Sounds Off
Tom, 47, took to his Instagram Story on Thursday to disclose the “secret to being loved.”
“I really think the secret to being loved is to love,” read the quote shared by Tom. “And the secret to being interesting is to be interested, and the secret to have others find beauty in you is to find beauty in others. And the secret to having a friend is being a friend.”
Tom added his own take on the quote underneath it, writing, “❤️❤️❤️ Love this.”
Given that – is it Tom or Gisele who wasn’t loving, or interested?
Gisele’s New Baby
This came after a source told People Magazine that Gisele, 44, had welcomed a baby boy. While his first name is unknown at this time, the insider revealed that his middle name is River.
This matches with Gisele giving her other two children water-themed middle names. Indeed, the children that she shares with Tom are Benjamin Rein, 15, and Vivian Lake, 12. Tom is also father to John “Jack” Edward Thomas, 17, who he shares with the former Blue Bloods actress Bridget Moynahan.
“Gisele’s doing great,” the source said just prior to the new baby’s birth. “She seems the happiest she’s ever been. She’s truly thriving. The baby has been a happy surprise. Joaquim can’t wait for the baby to arrive. They are planning a home birth.”
A source close to Tom, 47, told Page Six that he’s happy for his ex-wife. In fact, he’s wishing her nothing but the best. Another insider claimed that Tom has even reached out to Gisele, 44, to personally congratulate her on the birth.

Tom And Gisele’s Divorce
Tom and Gisele were married from 2009 until 2022. Gisele began dating Joaquim soon after her divorce. He had been her Jiu-Jitsu instructor during her marriage, but has denied that she ever cheated on Tom with him.
“That is a lie,” Gisele told The New York Times when asked directly about the cheating last year. “This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful. They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”
Gisele announced that she was pregnant with Joaquim’s child in October of last year. At the time, she was said to be about 5-6 months along in her pregnancy.
“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” a source close to Gisele told People Magazine at the time.
We’re glad to see that Tom appears to be doing well in the wake of his ex-wife welcoming a new baby with another man. Here’s hoping that Gisele and her new baby are doing well in the wake of his birth!
