Video purportedly shows Marsha Kearney, the mom of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice, walking away with a neighbor’s Amazon package.
The incident was caught on the neighbor’s Ring camera and posted online by TMZ.
While there have been no charges or an arrest for the package theft, police confirmed to the outlet that a report had been filed.
Identifying Kearney was a gargantuan effort in sleuthing that likely took hours of dedication. Just kidding. Rice’s mother – allegedly – was wearing a bright red Chiefs jersey emblazoned with the words “Momma-Rice” on the back.
The jersey number was 4. You’ll never guess who on the Chiefs wears that number.
Very subtle.
Kearney also happened to be seen sporting the same jersey on Instagram earlier in the day, and hours after Kansas City’s 17-10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Rashee Rice signed a 4-year, $6.5 million contract with the team in 2023.
Rashee Rice’s Mom Appears To Have Swiped Neighbor’s Chappell Roan Records
The shocking video purportedly of Rashee Rice’s mom grabbing a neighbor’s Amazon package is a master class in porch piracy.
Marsha Kearney is seen walking past the door looking down briefly and then looking behind her down the hall. She then returns to the same door – with a younger child walking in front of her. An excellent example to set!
As Kearney – allegedly – approaches the door she stops, and then seemingly pushes the package away from the door with her foot. It makes enough noise to wake up demons from the seventh circle of Hell.
After making quite a ruckus, the woman looks back at the door and very subtly takes the package … in full view of the camera.
Note to Amazon thieves – kick the package a lot further away from a door with a camera. Pro tip.
The neighbor told TMZ that the package contained two limited-edition Chappell Roan vinyls from Urban Outfitters, which according to the site would have cost over $100 with tax.

Rashee’s Own Run-ins With The Law
Rashee Rice has other issues to deal with following that Chargers game. He suffered a knee injury and was carted off the field.
Before the injury, Rice had emerged as a key player for the Chiefs, amassing 24 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns over the first three weeks.
As of the latest updates, Rice is undergoing further tests including an MRI to determine the severity of his injury, with fears of a possible ACL tear that could sideline him for an extended period. How that information has yet to be released is anybody’s guess.
Further complicating matters, Rice was arrested over a high-speed car crash this past April and is still facing eight felony charges from the incident. He then was accused, but not charged, of assaulting a person at a downtown Dallas nightclub at around 2:30 in the morning.
Reports also surfaced that Rice was involved in a gun incident during his time at Southern Methodist University (SMU). He was alleged to have “fired multiple bullets into the empty car” of SMU basketball player Kendric Davis, according to Pro Football Talk.
With a loose cannon of a kid and his now being on the injury shelf, perhaps ‘Momma Rice’ didn’t think Rashee would be able to afford those Chappell Roan records this year for Christmas.
