Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce sitting in a tree — yeah, we know where this story goes.
The worldwide music icon and star football player have been dating since last year. We’ve seen their relationship take off big time since.
Swift was a big presence in Las Vegas this past February as Kelce led his Kansas City Chiefs to yet another Super Bowl title against the San Francisco 49ers. Kelce can’t stop fawning over his better half and her musical talents.
So, it stands to reason that Kelce would be the subject of a song in Swift’s new album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
While we’re not 100% sure the song titled “The Alchemy” is about Kelce, it’s not too hard to hum between the lyrics.
“Cheers chanting ’cause they said rhere was no chance. Trying to be the greatest in the league. Where’s the trophy? He just comes running over to me.
Touch down. Call the amateurs and cut them from the team. Ditch the clowns, get the crown, baby. I’m the one to beat ’cause the sign on your heart said it’s still reserved for me. Honestly, who are we to fight the alchemy?”

Some also believe that the song “So High School” is also about Kelce. Swift apparently referenced his father, Ed, in the song.
“I feel like laughing in the middle of practice to that impression you did of your dad again.”

The world’s most-popular musician spent most of her new album focusing on ex-boyfriends. That included Matty Healy and her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn.
But reserving an entire song for Kelce is a clear sign that things are heating up between the two superstars. Some might be annoyed by it. Others believe that it’s just worn out from a press perspective. That’s fine and dandy. The large majority of responses were actually positive as “The Alchemy” dropped late Thursday evening.
