Tim Tebow took the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day to post some incredibly moving photos to his social media account.
Tebow, a former NFL quarterback with the Denver Broncos and Heisman Trophy winner as a Florida Gator, posted images that show the worth and value of those afflicted with the genetic condition.
While some all too often shun such individuals, Tebow embraces them.
“Truly some of the most joy-filled, loving people I know and on this #WorldDownSyndromeDay, I just want to tell all of my friends with Down Syndrome that you are so loved, and God sees you as royalty every day of your life!” he wrote.
“You are made in His image, and He has a plan and purpose for your life.”
World Down Syndrome Day was March 21st.

Tim Tebow’s Latest Project
Tim Tebow has been a strong advocate for life in all regards, especially for the most vulnerable. Just this past month, he announced that he was building a new Down syndrome facility in Guatemala.
“In December, we shared our heart with you to build a new Tebow Down campus in Guatemala City, a flagship campus to help us meet the opportunity to serve more families,” Tebow wrote on Instagram. “You said yes, and now we get to break ground!”
“We don’t often see the immediate answer to prayer, but wow thank you Lord and to our giving family for making this NEW campus a reality!” he added.
Not Everybody Thinks Or Acts This Way
You might think this is a fairly easy thing to do. Support the most vulnerable among us. Lift them up. Celebrate their value.
Maybe for Tim Tebow. But not for everybody.
Take Ana Navarro for example. Ana, you may know if you’ve had the misfortune of having to watch, is a co-host on The View.
Navarro, in a segment on CNN, brought up her disabled brother and other relatives with Down syndrome and autism as examples of why some women might not want to have such children.
“I have a step-granddaughter who was born with Down syndrome. And you know what? It is very difficult in Florida to get services. It is not as easy as it sounds on paper,” she complained.
I’m pretty sure Ana Navarro is umm… suggesting that autistic people and people with Down syndrome be aborted because her relatives with autism and Down syndrome are just too much work. This whole clip is so incredibly evil. pic.twitter.com/rZDWYn9Tus

Fighting For Trafficked Children
When he’s not celebrating the lives of those with Down Syndrome, the one-time Minor League player for the New York Mets is also fighting to save trafficked children.
He testified on the matter earlier this month before the House Judiciary Committee Subcommittee On Crime and Federal Government Surveillance.
During his testimony, Tebow read from a letter written by a child who was a victim of sustained sexual abuse over seven years. You simply cannot turn a blind eye to this.

Nobody is better known for showing his faith – even on the playing field – than Tim Tebow. His very act of kneeling in prayer on the field became a verb – ‘Tebowing.’
In a world full of Ana Navarros, be a Tim Tebow.
