Tom Brady made his much-anticipated broadcast debut as a Fox Sports analyst during the UFL’s (United Football League) championship game on Sunday.

It marks a significant moment for Brady and his fans as he begins a transition from the gridiron to the booth.

During his debut, Brady joined the commentary team in the second quarter and noted that neither team – the Birmingham Stallions nor the San Antonio Brahmas – had taken any true shots downfield in the passing game.

The Stallions led 8-0 at the half.

Brady’s appearance was a warm-up for his official NFL broadcasting debut in September. He will call the Week 1 game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns alongside lead play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt.

Tom Brady Met With Boos After Broadcast Debut

Tom Brady’s broadcast debut was then followed by his handing out the UFL championship MVP Trophy to Birmingham Stallions quarterback Adrian Martinez.

Unfortunately for him, this game was being held at the Dome at America’s Center in downtown St. Louis. And Rams fans weren’t about to let him skate through without a little animosity.

Fans at the Dome really let him have it.

Brady and the New England Patriots defeated the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI 20-17, a game that would later become part of “Spygate”.

Rams fans haven’t forgotten about it, it seems.

Brady And Peyton Manning’s Secret Workout

While it’s obvious that some fans still hold a grudge against Tom Brady and that his broadcast career might be a bit polarizing, his peers very much respect him.

One of his biggest rivals in the NFL, Peyton Manning, recently revealed that the two quarterbacks held secret workouts at the height of their careers.

When everybody was reveling in the competition the two had, they were learning from each other.

“There are so many things that I have learned through talking with (Manning),” Brady said. “Because when you reach a certain point at quarterbacking, you want to reach out to the other people that you really look up to.”

The Stallions, by the way, secured a dominant 25-0 victory over the Brahmas in the inaugural UFL Championship. It marks a third straight championship for Birmingham.
