Football fans can be pretty brutal at times. One of those times was during warmups before last night’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens.
Before the NFL season opener, our colleague Vincent Frank ran down some of the best looks for players as they arrived at Arrowhead Stadium.
Among that list was Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce who showed up looking pretty sharp – or as he might say, looking like Taylor Swift’s “arm candy” – and on top of the world.
The problem though, was what was on top of his head.
Kelce was wearing a hat. Once he hit the field for warmups, sans hat, sans helmet, all hell broke loose on social media.

Travis Kelce’s Haircut Is The Talk Of The Town
To be fair, all hell broke loose on social media because somewhere along the line, all hell broke loose on top of Travis Kelce’s head. Specifically, involving his barber.
It’s not that easy to describe really. But imagine a colander was placed on one’s head and the cut was then executed with a Flowbee™.
Fans had some thoughts. None of them kind. Many of them pointing out that you can’t walk around like that in public if you’re going to be dating the biggest pop star on the planet.
“Travis Kelce deserves a 15-yard penalty for his outrageous haircut,” the folks at Outkick remarked.
“This is not a man who’s ever planning to be on the market again,” another joked.
“We’re not sure who wins tonight’s game,” one fan account observed. “But we know Travis Kelce’s haircut lost.”
And those were just the clean comments. Others were far more brutal. NFL Memes weighed in on the clip job saying, “Travis Kelce went to the barber and said ‘Just (…) my (…) up fam.'”

Swift Is Gonna Have To Fix It
Honestly, the only thing missing with Travis Kelce and his haircut is him saying into the camera, “How much you wanna make a bet I can throw a football over them mountains?”
Fortunately for the NFL power couple, Taylor Swift at least arrived at the game looking like a million bucks.
The pop icon was sporting a pair of short denim shorts and thigh-high cowboy boots and just looked like … wow!
If Swift is going to be looking that good in public, then she’s going to have to do something with her arm candy’s haircut. Alternately, maybe she’s okay with it so other women don’t get any ideas when he’s on the road.
We kid because we care. By the way, Travis Kelce and his haircut got the last laugh, beating the Ravens 27-20 following a controversial officiating decision to end the game.
