Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce almost found out the hard way what the Secret Service means business. That’s especially true with those tasked with protecting POTUS and the White House.

Kelce and his Chiefs visited the nation’s most-popular house this past Friday as they celebrated their second consecutive Super Bowl with President Joe Biden.

It was this time last year that Kelce jokingly took to the podium in an attempt to speak before quarterback Patrick Mahomes pulled him back.

Fast forward a year, and Biden invited him up to speak. Kelce was not having any of it, seemingly joking that the Secret Service threatened to taze him after coming up with the line “My Fellow Americans.”

It’s all fun and games, right?

Not to the Secret Service. They are serious people. Really serious people. Kelce seemed to confirm that just recently.

Taylor Swift’s lesser half spoke about his experience at the White House during his most-recent New Heights episode. The tight end told his brother that the Secret Service was not happy with his antics last year, and offered him a stern warning.

“That’s real. The Secret Service that’s all over the White House, they weren’t too happy with me on my second time visiting,” Travis Kelce said. “When I walked in, we had about four or five Secret Service members come up to me and tell me, ‘You know if you go up to that podium we’re authorized to taze you. It is actually an order for us to taze you.’”

Here is part of that clip:

“That’s all that was going through my head. I had no idea that President Biden was going to ask me to come up and let me have my moment. I felt Taser aimed at me when I was up there the whole time,” Kelce continued.

Yeah, Kelce was almost on the receiving end of “mess around and find out.”

Luckily, nothing happened on this front. Kelce quickly removed himself from the podium and joined the rest of his teammates.

If something had happened, we envision Kelce would have been “down bad” with us wondering “how it ended.” OK, enough of the Swiftie stuff.

We’re just happy Kelce is 100% and ready for that long-awaited proposal. About that, Travis?
