Video has emerged of pro football Hall of Famer Terrell Davis being led away from a United Airlines flight by a man in an FBI jacket.
All of this happens as Davis’ wife, Tamiko, stands nearby, and his children are in the vicinity.
The two-time Super Bowl champion with the Denver Broncos has contended that the incident stemmed from an overly emotional flight attendant who responded out of line to his basic request for a cup of ice for his son.
“I calmly reached behind me and lightly tapped his arm to get his attention to again ask for a cup of ice for my son,” Davis said.
To which the attendant replied by shouting, “Don’t hit me!”
The attendant then apparently notified the rest of the crew, who then contacted authorities.

Terrell Davis Hauled Off Plane In Cuffs
The shocking video of Terrell Davis being dragged away following a flight from Denver to Orange County, California, was released by the Super Bowl MVP’s legal team.
It is evidence as they prepare a lawsuit against United Airlines over the incident.
After the plane landed, multiple FBI and other law enforcement agents boarded the plane, placed Davis in handcuffs, and removed him from the flight in front of his family and countless onlookers.
The FBI said it responded to a report of “a violent assault,” but after questioning Davis and others, he was released.
The flight attendant, according to United Airlines, was removed from duty.
“This clearly is not the kind of travel experience we strive to provide,” United said in a statement last week. “We have reached out to Mr. Davis’s team to apologize and continue to discuss the issue with them.”

Davis Questions The Flight Attendant’s Motives
Terrell Davis claims, and the video suggests, that the entire ordeal was pretty humiliating.
“I was then removed from the flight while being recorded by multiple passengers as I was paraded off of the plane in handcuffs by the officers,” he said.
Davis and his legal team have suggested a racial element to the actions taken by the United Airlines flight attendant. A statement from his lawyer points to “systemic shortcomings” by the airline.
“This video confirms the harrowing tale of multiple law enforcement agents, including the FBI, boarding the plane and apprehending a shocked, terrified, humiliated, and compliant Mr. Davis in front of his wife, Tamiko, minor children, and more than one hundred passengers,” the statement reads.
Davis, in an interview with CNN, said he personally felt there was a racial element to the overreaction.
“I certainly felt like that wouldn’t have happened if I … was a white person. That wouldn’t have happened. That’s what I felt. Whether that’s true or not, that’s a different conversation.”
