Kelly Stafford, the wife of NFL quarterback Matthew Stafford, recently shared some valuable advice for fellow football wives and girlfriends, including Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes.
According to E! News. As a self-described “elder football wife,” Kelly emphasized the importance of staying true to oneself despite the pressures and opinions of outsiders.
“Don’t lose yourself,” she advised, recalling how she initially tried to become the person everyone else wanted her to be, only to realize that she was losing touch with who she really was.
Kelly, who co-hosts The Morning After podcast, highlighted how the football world can be overwhelming, with constant noise and unsolicited advice.
“You’re going to have everyone telling you what you should look like, what you should say and not say,” she said, urging others to trust their instincts and values instead.
Through her podcast, Kelly offers a supportive community where she openly discusses topics beyond football, from parenting to friendships.
