President Trump, as he has been negotiating peace deal after peace deal, has been angling for a Nobel Peace Prize. And why not? Barack Obama got one without ever having done anything in office.

And while it hasn’t happened for Trump, and likely won’t despite his many accomplishments in the arena of peace, he’s set to get an honor of a different kind.

Trump is set to receive FIFA’s inaugural Peace Prize during the World Cup final draw ceremony at the Kennedy Center this Thursday. The groundbreaking award recognizes Trump’s pivotal role in brokering the United States-Mexico-Canada agreement that secured the 2026 World Cup hosting rights.

Politico reports that “(FIFA President Gianni) Infantino will … introduce Trump as the recipient of the event’s peace prize,” where he will then “accept the award and deliver remarks from the stage.”

FIFA awarding Trump

The two-hour extravaganza will kick off with a soul-stirring performance by Andrea Bocelli, setting the stage for the FIFA President’s remarks, where he’ll personally introduce Trump to accept the peace prize honor and deliver a keynote address.

We’re certain Trump will be humble and put the spotlight on others. Just kidding. He’s going to soak up the moment like you wouldn’t believe.

“The president is the consummate host,” Andrew Giuliani said, according to Politico. “Is there any other president that can handle inviting the world in and being a better host than Donald J. Trump?”

No. No, there’s not.

Adding to the pomp, pop icons Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger will take the mic, while The Village People close out with their timeless hit “YMCA.”

Media will lose their minds

The left-leaning sports media is going to lose its collective mind. Not only is FIFA awarding President Trump a peace prize, but they’re also bringing in a live performance of the song that sparked the “Trump dance” craze?

They’re going to need extra soy in their lattes after reading that news.

Trump won’t just be watching from the sidelines; he’ll join Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney for a ceremonial draw of the tournament balls.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino recently praised President Trump’s economic policies during a speech at the American Business Forum in Miami, an event at which Trump himself spoke.

“I think we should all support what he’s (Trump’s) doing because I think it’s looking pretty good,” Infantino said.

The relationship between FIFA and Trump has turned around remarkably.

The President threatened to relocate some 2026 World Cup games from specific cities in the United States if they don’t crack down on crime and address safety concerns ahead of the event.

FIFA initially rejected Trump’s authority, with vice president Victor Montagliani stating that the tournament falls under the soccer body’s jurisdiction and the sport is “bigger than any individual or country.”

They had a sudden change of heart shortly thereafter, stating, “safety and security are obviously the government’s responsibility.”

Now he’s getting a peace prize. Well deserved, Mr. President.
