Stephen A. Smith isn’t right very often. But when he is, you’ve gotta hand it to him.

The ESPN personality and SiriusXM host unleashed a blistering critique of Democrats on his recent podcast, declaring that the party is willing to allow non-citizens—”illegals”—to vote in elections.

Why? Because they’ll take votes from anybody. Criminal record be damned.

Smith’s comments come in the midst of an ongoing debate in which Republicans are trying to pass the SAVE America Act, an election integrity bill that would require voter ID to vote, and Democrats are opposing it despite massive support from the American people.

“It’s not lost on me that the Democrats just want votes from anybody they can get it from,” Smith explained. “And they don’t mind letting some illegals vote either. And that’s inexcusable.”

Democrats Slammed as Stephen A Smith Says They’re Fine With Illegals Voting

I mean, is there any debating this? Democrats oppose voter ID for one reason and one reason only. It opens the door to fraudulent voting. And illegals side with the party that supports their criminal activity.

Sure, Democrats will make silly arguments that minorities are too unintelligent to obtain an ID, or that women who have married names wouldn’t be able to access an ID because they, too, are intellectually incapable of proving they are the same as their maiden name. But those are silly arguments in which only silly people are duped.

If Stephen A. can figure out the scheme, then how are Democratic voters not able to pick up on it?

Smith’s comments, which have gone viral, highlight a rare instance of a prominent figure with Democratic leanings breaking ranks to call out what he sees as partisan hypocrisy on voting rules.

While Democrats have framed the SAVE America Act as voter suppression, Smith dismissed such arguments, insisting the real issue is tolerating potential fraud for political gain.

Smith has, at various times, flirted with running for President in 2028, but ultimately decided his focus was on debating and obliterating Democrats on the world stage. His reason for not running? Man’s gotta get paid.

“I don’t think I’m running either, because I got to give up my money,” the sports analyst told Sean Hannity in a recent interview. “Yeah, I ain’t giving up my money.”
