Tennis star Paula Badosa, the 27-year-old Spanish sensation, wowed fans with a series of bikini photos after enjoying a luxurious holiday in Indonesia.

It’s not all fun and games, however, as the world number 23-ranked player is recovering from an injury that has sidelined her for the remainder of the 2025 season.

“Places and people heal you, and this was one of those times. What an amazing trip with my crew for life,” she captioned a series of stunning images on Instagram.

Badosa’s post garnered over 78,000 likes and numerous comments from admirers since the heart-pounding images were shared.

“Indonesia stole my heart,” she added.

Paula, you stole ours.

Paula Badosa is battling injuries

Paula has been sidelined from the sport she loves with a debilitating hip injury. She was forced to retire in tears during her third-round match at the China Open last month against Karolina Muchova.

Badosa subsequently announced she would skip the rest of the 2025 season.

“There are times when I ask myself how I manage to keep going through the toughest moments. And the truth is, it’s in those exact moments that I discover the deepest strength inside me,” she wrote to fans.

“Every setback hurts, but it also reminds me how badly I want to fight, how much I want to come back stronger.”

Looking forward to next year

Paula Badosa has been soaking up some sun and good vibes in Indonesia, as well she should, having to work her way to recovery and hopefully a successful season on the tour in 2026.

It’s been a rather difficult 2025 for the tennis star. Badosa had a tough year marked by an early Wimbledon exit and her breakup with boyfriend, fellow tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas.

It’s clear she’s moving on and living her best life now, however.

Badosa has well over 1.2 million followers on Instagram, and with posts like the one above, it’s pretty easy to see why. Tsitsipas’ loss is the tennis world’s gain.

“Your support carries me when things get heavy, and your faith gives me courage when doubt creeps in,” she said after announcing her injury break just a couple of weeks ago.

“That energy, that love. It’s something I can never thank you enough for.”

Her last tour victory came in the Mubadala Citi DC Open in 2024. She reached the semifinals of the Australian Open this past season, beating Coco Gauff in the quarterfinals before losing to top-seeded Aryna Sabalenka.
