Caitlin Clark made an appearance at a local charity event and was immediately challenged to a little one-on-one action by a very young fan.
“Ready … Ready to get down?” a boy asks. A hoop is set up in the parking lot with an Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever logo affixed to the backboard.
He drives to the hoop, attempting a little shot fake which prompts Clark to point out he traveled. Man, no chill in her game.
The boy says something to her to which the Fever star responds, “I am going hard.”
Clark then promptly and adorably blocks his shot. Videos on X show her making quite a few blocks on the poor kid. After insisting she go hard, the boy responds to one block saying, “That wasn’t fair!”

Boy Gets His Moment
It’s a charity event and Caitlin Clark is all like, “Get that weak sauce out of here!”
Lest you were worried that the many blocks were going to affect this young man, think again. He was simply reeling her in. A little rope-a-dope action.
After one block, a little girl comes over, taps on Clark’s arm, and says something to her.
The opening was now there. The die had been cast. The boy used his sister essentially as a Chennedy Carter pick and launched a jumper over the WNBA star’s outstretched arms.
Nothing but net.
The young man celebrated with a little flex action while Clark protested, “Your sister distracted me!”
Little scamps!

Caitlin Clark Charity Event
Honestly, this kid should have known what he was in for. Clark did warn people that her recent snub by Team USA for the Summer Olympics had unleashed a monster.
Then, first chance she gets she stuffs this kid like a Thanksgiving turkey. Five times.
We’re glad he was able to drop one shot over her though. Even if he did have to use his sister as a decoy. Hey, it’s a dog-eat-dog world out there in charity basketball. You do what needs to be done. Frankly he’s lucky he didn’t get posterized by Caitlin.
The playful interaction was caught on video by sports photographer Bri Lewerke during a community event in Indiana. Caitlin Clark was there with Indiana Pacers forward Isaiah Jackson representing Gainbridge Sports at the charity effort.
The two joined Group 1001 and Habitat for Humanity to help build what will be a new home for a family in Boone County.
