Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady knows a thing or two about breaking records. He finished his legendary career as the all-time NFL leader in wins, titles, passing yards and passing touchdowns. These are records that will not be broken any time soon.

Like a lot of us, Brady was tuned into A’ja Wilson and his Las Vegas Aces visiting Caltin Clark’s Indiana Fever on Wednesday.

The two-time defending champion Aces came away on top by the score of 86-75. For her part, Wilson dropped 27 points with 12 rebounds and three blocks.

Absolutely on a roll this season, Wednesday’s performance enabled Wilson to break the single-season WNBA record for points scored. She surpassed the 939 points Jewell Lloyd scored with the Seattle Storm last season.

Brady took note of Wilson’s record-setting outing with a simple post on X.

This isn’t simply being a fan boy of Wilson. The GOAT is actually a part owner of the Las Vegas Aces. He bought a portion of the team from owner Mark Davis last year.

Brady is also big time into the Vegas scene. The Fox NFL broadcaster has been attempting to buy a part of the Raiders from Davis. But the NFL is currently holding things up. He’s also been seen attending a ton of Vegas-based sports events.

Brady knows greatness when he sees it. This is what we’re witnessing from the two-time WNBA MVP. Wilson will likely win that award for a third time going away this season.

She’s dropped at least 20 points in eight consecutive games and is averaging 28.8 points to go with 12.3 rebounds during that span. Those are some absolutely absurd numbers.

  • A’ja Wilson stats (2024): 27.3 PPG, 11.9 RPG, 1.9 SPG, 2.7 BPG, 52% shooting

This has Vegas at 27-17 on the season and potentially ripe to three-peat as WNBA champions. It would be an extension of the next dynasty in the sports world. Brady knows a lot about that, too.
