Fans of the Unrivaled League called Angel Reese out after she was seen screaming and getting in the face of her own head coach over the weekend.
The incident took place in a matchup between Reese’s Rose BC squad and the Lunar Owls BC.
Reese was being guarded tightly by an opposing player when she went for a layup, her old nemesis. It appears the defender opted for a LeBron James-esque flop and the refs bit.
Angel was whistled for the foul. And while she clearly was not pleased with the call, she was even more irate that her coach, Nola Henry, didn’t challenge it.
The call was Reese’s last foul, and she was ousted from the game after delivering a stellar performance. She contributed 22 points and 21 rebounds, the young league’s first-ever 20-20 performance.
But she wasn’t about to rest on her laurels, and Reese made it clear she was ticked off with her coach about being unable to continue.

Angel Reese Gets Heat From Fans For Showing Up Her Coach
As is often the case with Angel Reese, there were plenty of critics. Fans were not happy with her being so emotional and angry, showing up her head coach.
One person insisted, “She’s disrespectful and should be removed from the game for the entire season!”
“Angel is such a baby. She feels like she is entitled,” another fired back. “She is one of the worst role models I have seen in women’s sports lately.”
One fan suggested her behavior has been steadily worsening for quite some time.
“Angel makes herself an easy target when she continuously, for years now, has shown a lack of sportsmanship and class, and it kinda goes way back to high school,” they wrote on X.
If you thought Reese was going to show some contrition for the spectacle, you’d be wrong. She told her critics they could “stay on that side.”
no. tell them stay on that side. please. https://t.co/YBvgXbPQF6

RELATED: Angel Reese Makes History, Becomes First Woman To Ever Get Ejected From ‘Unrivaled’ League Game
Making History
Angel Reese has been making the wrong kind of history in the new Unrivaled League. Earlier this month, she became the first player in league history to get ejected from a game.
During a game against Laces BC, Reese was seen taunting an opposing player and jawing after a play ended. She was called for a foul on Tiffany Hayes and began arguing with the officials.
The WNBA All-Star received the first technical for a dismissive gesture towards the ref after the foul call and the second while contesting that she was directing the gesture at Hayes, not the referee.
The official either wasn’t buying it or didn’t care what the excuse was.

The Chicago Sky star in the WNBA took to social media suggesting coverage of her ejection was little more than “clickbait.”
“Everything I do keep going viral,” she said.
Lo and behold, she’s going viral again for having a temper tantrum at her coach’s expense. It’s almost like she enjoys the attention, harmful or otherwise.
