Former WWE Superstar and current Fox News personality Tyrus has a wild – nay, insane – prediction for John Cena‘s final match.
And isn’t that what wrestling is all about? The wildest, most insane storyline tends to rise to the top sometimes.
Cena is scheduled to wrestle the final match of his storied career at the December 13, 2025, edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C.
Dave Meltzer, in an edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, notes that “leading political figures” are expected “to be invited and attend this show.”
Speculation is already running rampant.
While President Trump is scheduled to attend the Army-Navy game in Baltimore earlier in the day, it isn’t beyond the realm of possibility to see him travel to the WWE event afterward. While he hasn’t confirmed or acknowledged the invitation, Tyrus is sure that he will be there.
“A thousand percent,” Tyrus said. “If he says he’s going, he’s going.”
Trump involved in John Cena’s last match?
Even beyond that, Tyrus believes that President Trump, unbelievably a WWE Hall of Famer himself, could get involved in the match. Can you even imagine the President of the United States engaged in a wrestling storyline? It was one thing when he was a wealthy real estate mogul. But now, the leader of the free world?
The man formerly known as Brodus Clay, also known as the Funkasaurus, thinks it’s possible.
“It’s an indecent thing — and that’s not by mistake,” he quipped in an interview with TMZ’s Inside The Ring. “He might even be in the finish.”
Tyrus believes Donald Trump will ‘1000%’ attend John Cena’s final match:

“1000%. If he says he's going, he's going. He might even be in the finish. He might hit a Binding Resolution in the middle of that match… I definitely think that if the president says he's going to be… pic.twitter.com/v1xoRR3avZ
“I definitely think that if the president says he’s gonna be there, he’s gonna be there, because he loves it,” Tyrus concluded. “He loves it.”
Trump should enter the ring as a guest referee and help John Cena get the victory in his last match. The two could ride off into the WWE sunset as babyfaces for eternity.

Tyrus tells Trump haters to stick it
Now, President Trump making an appearance during John Cena’s last match wouldn’t be without controversy. Especially when there are pro-Palestinian nutjobs on the roster like CM Punk and Sami Zayn.
Zayn also once compared Trump to Hitler, which, ya know, everyone with a maximum capacity of three brain cells is doing these days. Zayn isn’t the brightest crayon in the box.
Anyway, Tyrus has a message for the haters should the President show up to the landmark event.
“You take all the whiny baby, I-hate-him crap — years from now, when all this media BS is over, people will say, ‘I remember where I was when John Cena wrestled and the President of the United States was there,'” he said.
“That’s not a small thing.”
Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, joining the Celebrity Wing. He was recognized for his involvement with WWE events, including hosting WrestleMania IV and V, as well as participating in the “Battle of the Billionaires” at WrestleMania 23.
Cena, meanwhile, is a lock to join him in the future at the WWE Hall of Fame.
