As the green flag flies, Pack quickly shot into the lead coming down the front straightaway. However, he appears to spin his tires and slows down coming into turn 1. Not only does he drastically slow down, but he also drifts up the track right into the path of Jeffreys.

Jeffreys has nowhere to go, but into the right rear tire of Pack. Not only does he bang into Pack’s rear, but he also collides with the #51 of Austin Taylor. The ensuing contact sees Jeffreys car careen into the outside wall of Turn 1, making heavy contact.

Jeffreys was not happy with Pack after he climbed from his car and even attempted to chase him down as Pack’s car came by while the track was under caution. Pack quickly sped past him to avoid Jeffreys.

However, Jeffreys wasn’t done. He marched across the infield, where he eventually picked up one of the cones and heaved it at Pack as he came to a stop on the front stretch.

You can see in the video below, that Jeffreys launches the cone over top of Burt Myers’ modified to land directly in front of Pack’s car, nearly making contact.

Jeffreys’ night would end with the crash and he would finish in 22nd place. Pack would take his car to the pits following the contact and he would eventually finish in 18th.

Junior Snow would take his #51 modified to victory lane for the first time after fending off a challenge from Dean Ward in the #12. The last place finish for Jeffreys would significantly hurt his position in the points as he fell to 9th with only 228 points.

The Brad’s Golf Cars Modified Series continues to be extremely competitive as the point race is very tight with Chris Fleming currently leading with 308 points.

However, both Jason Myers and Brandon Ward are just 8 points behind. A little further back is Tim Brown in 4th with 280 points. John Holleman in 5th has 274 points.

What do you make of Jeffreys’ cone throw? Was his anger at Pack justified? Who do you think was in the wrong?
