He may have lost his debut fight in his boxing journey due to points alone against reigning heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, but Francis Ngannou managed to win the hearts and support of an army of new fans in the process

Not just an MMA sensation anymore, Francis “The Predator” Ngannou has now taken the world of boxing by storm after just barely losing his massively publicized fight against reigning world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Many thought Fury would have been able to easily defeat the boxing newcomer only instead to have barely managed to clinch a victory during their bout in Saudi Arabia last year.

Big Man = Big Money

While he is set to face boxer Anthony Joshua next, Ngannou-mania has already hit the boxing scene by storm as other boxers are lining up to take a chance to fight Ngannou while securing a massive paycheck in the process.

According to MMA Fighting:

Ngannou’s longtime representative Marquel Martin told MMA Fighting in November that “The Predator” earned “multiples upon multiples upon multiples” more for the Fury bout than he did as UFC heavyweight champion.

Pay-per-view sensation? Hard to argue.
