Hill’s Home Gets Hot

Around 3 PM local time on Wednesday afternoon, emergency officials received a call of smoke from Hill’s home. Tyreek Hill himself was not home; he was at Dolphins practice. Likewise, none of his family members were at the residence during the time of the fire.

Reports say that Hill rushed home immediately from the Dolphins practice facility to assess the damages. No report has been released as to the extent (or expense) of the damages to the property.

The fire was reportedly caused by a child playing with a lighter and was contained in one room of the home.

The speedster purchased the Miami home for an estimated $7 million in 2022 after signing a four-year, $120 million extension with the franchise.

Hill and the Dolphins are currently 11-5 and sit atop the AFC East with one game to play. They can clinch the division by defeating the Buffalo Bills (10-6) on Sunday Night Football this week.
