Christen Harper, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model fiancée of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, shared an “unbelievable” video on Instagram following the team’s 24-23 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. The video shows Harper embracing her future husband after the win while the stadium is chanting his name.
Jared Goff Leads Detroit Lions To First Playoff Win In 32 Years
Harper added a caption to her Instagram video saying, “It was always Detroit.”
“Unbelievable,” text overlaying the footage of the scene reads. “Love this city.”
Goff’s victory came over the Rams who he led to the Super Bowl in 2018. They lost that contest to the New England Patriots and Tom Brady, 13-3. Goff was traded to the Lions in 2021 for quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford went on to win Super Bowl LVI that year while Goff was tasked with a reclamation project in Detroit.
He was up to the task. The Lions have improved dramatically each year since that trade, going 3-10-1 his first year there, 9-8 in 2022, and 12-5 this season.
And now, he’s attained legendary status in the Motor City, delivering the team’s first playoff victory since 1991. Doing so against the team that sent him packing had to be all the more sweeter.

Goff’s Supermodel Fiancée
Detroit Lion fans had every right to be chanting ‘Jared Goff!’ following the team’s victory. Goff played an efficient and nearly flawless game, going 22 of 27 for 277 yards and a touchdown. Most importantly, he didn’t turn the ball over.
Goff though, in comments after the game, refused to make it about his personal revenge against the Rams.
“It means a lot, but this team is special,” he said. “It’s about our team. It’s about the ’23 Lions. It’s about this squad. It’s about the people in the building. It’s about (Lions coach) Dan Campbell. It’s about us.”
And the city is in love with Goff, fans shedding tears of joy after tasting victory for the first time in over three decades.
Goff’s fiancée often shares the couple’s adventures on Instagram, including birthday photos and a “perfect boat day” after the two were engaged last summer.
Christen Harper isn’t simply the girlfriend of an NFL quarterback or the future wife of a football player, she is a stunning and successful model who has graced the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
The Lions were a three-win team two years ago and have since transformed into a division winner.
