The Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has seen his life change quite a bit ever since he went public with his relationship with the singer Taylor Swift in September of last year. Now, Travis is speaking out to reveal why he no longer receives mail at his home in Leawood, Kansas.
Travis Doesn’t Get Mail At His Home
During Wednesday’s episode of his New Heights podcast, Travis talked to his brother Jason about why he doesn’t have things mailed to his house anymore.
“The one thing you don’t realize, that when somebody posts your house online, that everybody now has your address and people just send stuff to your house,” explained Travis, 34. “So I literally stopped getting mail to my house. I had to stop. I had to literally tell the post office and everybody to, like, stop bringing stuff to my house.”
Trying to play devil’s advocate, the 36 year-old Jason told his younger brother that “there’s some stuff that comes and it’s pretty cool.”
Travis, however, stood his ground.
“Anything sent to my house, send right back to the sender,” he said. “So anybody that’s just sending random s**t to my house, uh, it’s not getting to me.”

Travis Changes Homes
Travis has become more famous than ever in the months since he started dating Taylor. Daily Mail reported that in the middle of the last NFL season, Travis even had to move to a new home in a gated community after paparazzi surrounded his former home in droves.
Afterwards, Travis moved from the Briarcliff West neighborhood on the Missouri side of Kansas City to the ritzy suburb of Leawood, Kansas.
Travis’ bought his new home for $6 million, and it’s a 17,000-square-foot mansion that is set on 3.5 acres. The home boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a “Beverly Hills-style” pool, according to Crazy Luxury Homes.

Taylor And Travis Forever?
While Travis was famous before he started dating Taylor, her fame is on an entirely different level, as she’s arguably the hottest singer in the world right now. Last month, a source told Page Six that Taylor is “worried” that Travis will “get freaked out” by her fame.
“She wants a happy ending with Travis.” A source said, “She is worried about jinxing things. She is nervous something will mess things up.”
“There’s very little oxygen between her life and fame,” the insider added. “Travis is a peacock, but he has never dated a celeb before, and she is one of the most famous women in the world. Right now he is enjoying everything and she is hoping that it stays like that.”
The source concluded by saying that Taylor is stressing that Travis “doesn’t get freaked out about the fame. That the constant-ness of it doesn’t get exhausting for him.”
Judging by the video below, however, Taylor doesn’t have much to worry about!
While Travis and Taylor appear to be doing well in their relationship, dealing with her level of fame can’t be easy at times. In the end, it seems that Travis made the right decision, both in moving to a gated community and in no longer receiving mail at his home.
