I’m convinced at this point that Keith Olbermann just loves being a punching bag. Every time he pipes up with that white-hot rage while looking like a doppelganger for Colonel Sanders, you just know he’s going to get hammered.
He might as well just end all of his social media posts with ‘Thank you, sir, may I have another?’
Team USA’s men’s hockey team winning gold has apparently broken the former ESPN star all over again. Olbermann apparently didn’t think it was appropriate for President Trump and the White House to celebrate America’s first gold medal in hockey in 46 years. Since the Miracle on Ice.
“Congratulations to our great U.S.A. Ice Hockey team. THEY WON THE GOLD. WOW!” a jubilant Trump wrote on Truth Social after Team USA won an overtime thriller, 2-1.
“WHAT A GAME!!!” he said in another post before adding, “LOTS OF WINNING!!!”

Keith Olbermann Slams White House for Celebrating America’s First Hockey Gold Since Miracle on Ice – Gets Roasted by Fans
However, it was a post from the White House official X account that really set Olbermann off. The post simply featured a bald eagle standing tall over a fallen Canadian goose.
“Trump’s Trash White House always acts as if it’s never been there before,” the washed-up sports personality snapped.
Bro, it has been almost half a century.

Hockey fans on social media took Olbermann to task for his unhinged comment.
“It’s sad your derangement won’t let you enjoy the biggest hockey win for America in 45 years,” wrote Five for Fighting’s John Ondrasik.
“Don’t worry, we already know that you were rooting for Canada,” another fan quipped.
Keith, and every middle-aged white female liberal who hates Trump. (Yes, I know, they’re one and the same.)
One fan pondered, “Keithy, just be happy. USA won the gold, and it made lots of people happy and grateful. Won’t you join us?”
You should go to Canada then. I promise you, you won’t be missed.

Keith usually directs his ire at female swimmers. To be clear, he’s intellectually and physically outmatched no matter who he challenges, but that is his typical target.
He recently took on former NCAA swimmer and women’s sports advocate Kaitlynn Wheeler and got pummeled for his troubles.
“Making a career out of trolling women online is an…interesting career pivot for a gross old man. Meanwhile, we’re out here actually making a difference for girls,” Wheeler dunked on the old man yelling from his lawn. “We are not the same.”
@KeithOlbermann you got fired… repeatedly I might add

Meanwhile, we’re out here actually making a difference for girls.
We are not the same.
Prior to that, Olbermann had been absolutely steamrolled after attacking another female athlete, Riley Gaines.
“He still lives with his mom in her basement,” Gaines said in an interview with Joe Rogan. “I had to ask my dad, ‘Who is this guy?’ I don’t even know who he is.”
Nobody does anymore.
Keep in mind that, while he likes to mock women who have accomplished something in sports, Keith has never played a sport in his life.
The one time he actually tried to pull off an athletic feat of any kind was in 1980, when, after watching a Mets game at the old Shea Stadium, he tried to leap onto a subway, only to hit his head so hard that he was rendered unable to drive.
Team USA’s men’s hockey team captured the gold medal with a thrilling 2-1 overtime victory over Canada, as Jack Hughes scored the golden goal 1:41 into the extra period.
