Popular golf influencer and former professional golfer Paige Spiranac just reminded everyone why she’s one of the most unapologetically real figures in sports media. Real and spectacular.

Amid a nonstop barrage of online hate that would crush most people, the golf influencer took to X to give a heartfelt shoutout to the one consistent voice cutting through the noise: some dude who’s been dropping “great cans” on literally every single one of her posts for years.

In a world drowning in despair and negativity from keyboard warriors, she wrote, this loyal commenter “will always be there for me to lift my spirits.”

“He’s never missed a post.”

That’s dedication, my man.

Talk about finding silver linings in the weirdest places—while the trolls rage, this guy’s crude reliability has become her daily dose of positivity.

Imagine posting “great cans” on every single post for years and actually getting some recognition for it. Most of us would get slugged violently if we said this, and yet this guy is getting praise from, well, this woman with the great… golf swing.

It’s peak 2026 internet absurdity, but it hits harder when you consider what Spiranac’s been dealing with lately: a rough patch of anxiety, stepping back from posting, and the usual pile-on that comes with being a beautiful woman who dares to talk golf and show some personality.

Well, there was the whole cheating scandal, too, however. Sorry, Paige, but we can’t avoid mentioning the controversy.

Spiranac reportedly experienced intense online harassment, including tens of thousands of death threats, following a cheating scandal in a golf influencer tournament late last year.

During that event, a Barstool Sports-sponsored golf tournament featuring 48 influencers competing for a $1 million prize, Paige Spiranac was caught on camera brushing down tall grass in the rough during the final match.

The move helped improve the lie for her teammate Malosi Togisala. Opponents were none too pleased.

They didn’t care about her great … personality.

Paige left social media for a while after that, citing online harassment over the incident. She dismissed it as being in a bit of a “funk.”

Now, she’s back and better than ever.

Instead of whining about the haters or begging for sympathy, she has flipped the script and celebrated the one fan who’s ride-or-die in his own bizarre way.

In an era where everyone’s offended by everything, Paige is out here laughing it off and appreciating the consistency. Respect.

If more people could find that kind of unbreakable supporter—lewd or not—maybe social media wouldn’t feel like such a dumpster fire. You certainly have to love her great … attitude.
