Former New York Yankees star and World Series champion Mark Teixeira publicly defended U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents against escalating threats.
Teixeira, who this past summer announced his bid for Congress in Texas, urged people to stand up for law enforcement officers who are simply trying to do their jobs.
“We have to stand up for ICE officers and law enforcement against these dangerous threats,” the three-time MLB All-Star wrote in a post on X.
Teixeira was responding to reports that ICE officers have been subject to massive increases in assaults against them as they do little more than simply enforce federal immigration laws.

Mark Teixeira is standing up for ICE
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) posted a report on how pro-illegal alien zealots are creating fake AI videos of criminals being detained by ICE, and appealing to the gullible social media crowd by amping up the emotional factor.
“Anti-ICE radicals are so desperate to demonize American law enforcement that they are creating AI videos to gin up hate,” they wrote on X. “The REALITY: these disgusting smears and lies are fueling the 1000% increase in assaults and nearly 8000% increase in death threats against our brave @ICEgov officers.”
“The SICKOS spreading this filth must stop before they get someone killed.”
The New York Post posted one such video showing a mother being separated from her baby by law enforcement officers. It’s terribly sad. And terribly, obviously fake.
“Videos on social media sites like Facebook show intense, dramatic scenes of federal agents detaining migrants, many of which are racking up hundreds of thousands of views each,” the Post explains. “The catch? They’re fake.”

Running for Congress
Mark Teixeira announced his candidacy for Texas’s 21st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives in August.
Describing himself as a lifelong conservative and proud Texan, Teixeira said he aims to defend President Trump’s agenda and protect Texas families. So, his defense of ICE is on brand.
“As a proud Texan and lifelong conservative who loves our country, I’m ready to fight for the principles that make Texas strong and America exceptional,” a statement read. “It takes teamwork to win, and I’m ready to help defend President Trump’s America First agenda, Texas families, and individual liberty.”
America first. Illegals last, for Teixeira.
The former Yankees star also recently offered up prayers for Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder, who was assassinated in September.
