In a shameful display of left-wing activism gone awry, rowdy fans at the Minnesota Timberwolves‘ rescheduled game against the Golden State Warriors disrupted a moment of silence intended to honor a man tragically killed when he impeded a federal immigration enforcement operation.

The outburst, with chants of “F*** ICE” echoing through the arena, highlighted the classless behavior of anti-law enforcement agitators who can’t even respect a solemn tribute to the dead.

This is how thugs in Minneapolis act. Repeatedly.

The incident at Target Center came just days after Alex Pretti’s death during Operation Metro Surge – a vital initiative by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol to crack down on illegal immigration in the Twin Cities.

Timberwolves Fans Chant ‘F*** ICE’ During Solemn Moment of Silence

According to official accounts, Pretti, a legal gun owner, intervened in the agents’ lawful detention of a suspect with a history of offenses, leading to a chaotic confrontation where he resisted disarmament.

Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino praised the agents involved, noting their extensive training and the dangers they face daily while protecting American communities from criminal elements crossing our borders illegally.

President Donald Trump, in his second term, swiftly defended the officers, accusing local Democrat officials of fueling “insurrection” by undermining federal authority.

Of course, Pretti’s death is tragic and never should have happened. But stupid people keep putting themselves in harm’s way. More like eff these people encouraging impressionable people like Pretti to try and interfere in criminal investigations. Minneapolis, do better. Be smarter.

Instead of reflecting on the complexities of law enforcement in a border crisis exacerbated by years of weak policies under previous administrations, a vocal minority of fans chose to turn a moment of remembrance into a profane spectacle.

Clowns. All of them. And it’s not the first time.

They shouted the same expletives when a moment of silence was held for Renee Good.

Speaking of clowns, WNBA superstar Breanna Stewart also staged an attention-seeking protest on Sunday, holding up a sign reading “Abolish ICE” before her Unrivaled league game. Fortunately, nobody watches Unrivaled and likely didn’t see her little sign.

Feckless leaders bait people like Pretti and Good into doing stupid things. Athletes encourage the nonsense. Then they get mad when those stupid things turn into tragedy.

The Timberwolves got thumped by the Warriors, 111-85.
