LeBron James couldn’t resist making fun of sports analyst Stephen A. Smith’s claim that he would swing on James, posting a video of the ESPN personality training for boxing from several years ago.

James captioned the video, which shows a very uncoordinated Smith attempting to swing with his trainer, with “Whomp, whomp, whompppppppp.”

He also added a few laughing-while-crying emojis for good measure.

LeBron’s taunt comes after Smith said he was prepared to throw hands after the Lakers star confronted him on the court over his coverage of his insanely inept at basketball son, Bronny.

LeBron Taunts Stephen A Smith

Granted, that video isn’t the best look for Stephen A. Smith. But it’s definitely further proof that LeBron James is a petty, vindictive whiner.

Smith fully admitted James would have pummeled him if he ever had to swing but noted it would be out of integrity if James escalated the confrontation by putting his hands on him first.

“It was during the third quarter, it was fresh out of a timeout, it was him walking to the basketball court. It was on national television, the cameras were rolling and had I done something what do ya’ll want me to do?” he said. “You want this to be a reincarnation of Chris Rock and Will Smith?”

Smith proceeded to accurately describe what would have gone down if James had touched him.

“And let me state for the record while we bring up that, let me assure you it wouldn’t have gone down like that. I would have gotten my ass kicked because if that man put his hands on me I would’ve immediately swung on him,” he added. “Immediately. That I’m not going to tolerate.”

Suggestions For Stephen A

Honestly, I’m not sure LeBron wants to go down this road. In fact, here are a few suggestions we’d like to provide for Stephen A. Smith as a retort. Videos that don’t exactly make the self-proclaimed ‘King’ look all that tough.

Let’s just start with the obvious. There are plenty of clips of LeFlop doing what he does best on the basketball court. For brevity’s sake, we’ll go with this one.

Then, of course, there was the famous incident when LeKaren tattle-tailed on a couple of Pacer fans who hurt his feelings and got them kicked out of the game.

Or just share the video of him that started this feud in the first place. Where LeBum tries to intimidate a journalist because he correctly pointed out that Bronny is bad at basketball.

At least Smith knows his limitations. James’ fake tough guy act is a little sad, really.
