The Pennsylvania woman who went viral for screaming at the former NFL star Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie has broken her silence.
But first, relive the tense viral exchange in the video below.
‘I Am Sorry’
Andrée Goldberg has been identified as the woman who lost her temper on the Kelces. She did so after they denied her a photo as they tried to enjoy a date night in Margate City, New Jersey over Memorial Day Weekend. Now, Goldberg is speaking out to apologize for what she did.
“In a heated moment, I said things that were out of character for me and that I regret and for that, I am sorry,” Goldberg said, according to Daily Mail. “Although I apologized directly to the Kelce family on Saturday, I want to publicly apologize to them, and our community.”
“My anger, and my actions, are not who I am, and certainly not indicative of the welcoming community of Margate,” she added. “As an adult and proud member of my community, I should have recognized and respected their right to privacy from the onset.”
Goldberg went on to thank the Kelces for showing her “grace and understanding.” She concluded by wishing them “nothing but the best.”

Viral Fight
Goldberg reportedly approached the Kelces at around 5pm last Saturday. They were still in their vehicle about to enjoy a date night at Steve & Cookie’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar when Goldberg asked them for a photo. The couple politely declined, which didn’t sit well with Goldberg, who responded by going off on them.
“You’ll never be allowed in this town again!” she screamed in the viral video of the incident.
Kylie, however, was not about to let her get away with disrespecting her and her husband.
“I can smell the alcohol on your breath, you’re embarrassing yourself!” she fired back as Jason looked on. He appeared to be ready to help his wife if needed. However, his services were not required, as Kylie more than held her own!
Thankfully, Goldberg did not succeed in ruining the Kelces date night. Later, they were seen having a “lovely evening, laughing and enjoying their meals.”

Margate City Mayor Apologizes
Afterwards, Margate City Mayor Michael Collins offered the Kelces an apology of his own, going so far as to offer to buy them dinner in the hopes of making amends.
“On behalf of the City of Margate, I’d like to formally apologize to Jason & Kylie Kelce for the experience they had in Margate City over the holiday weekend,” Collins said in a statement on Wednesday.
“As a father with young children, I know as well as anyone the importance of a date night with your wife and would like to offer a redo date night with dinner on me,” he added.

The Kelces have yet to offer any public comment on both the incident itself and the apologies.
This is clearly a very unfortunate situation for everyone involved. Here’s hoping that Goldberg uses this as a learning experience and doesn’t treat people this way in the future!
