Earlier this month, the Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was spotted watching a Kansas City Chiefs game with Taylor Swift. Clark, 23, and Swift, 35, were seen cheering on the latter’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, 35, as his team defeated the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium in the AFC Divisional Round.
Now, Clark is opening up about what it was really like to watch this game with Swift for fans who are dying to know.
Clark Watches Game With Swift
Although Clark is a Chiefs fan, we won’t hold that against her.
“Obviously, I’m a huge Chiefs fan, I’ve been a huge Chiefs fan, and obviously Taylor is a huge Chiefs fan too, so it was fun and obviously worked out where we could go and we had the time,” Clark told 247Sports. “It was perfect where it all worked out.”
Clark went on to say that she and Swift had an absolute blast watching this “perfect game.”
“It’s just cute to see how excited she is for the Chiefs,” Clark added of Swift, “and getting to share that with her, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I love this!’ She loves the Chiefs as much as me.”
Clark Gushes Over Swift
Not stopping there, Clark praised Swift for being a “very sweet and kind” in person – a claim which is by all accounts true.
“It’s just a good reminder of people in our position, like, we’re very normal,” Clark explained. “And you know, sometimes our lives aren’t normal but we’re very normal people, we enjoy watching sports. It just puts a great perspective on life and where you’re at in your career.”
Clark has been a huge fan of Swift’s for many years. Back in November, Clark attended two of Swift’s three shows in Indianapolis, Indiana. There, she met Kelce and told him how much she loves Swift. Once Swift heard this from Kelce, she wrote Clark a letter inviting her to come watch a Chiefs game with her. Swift added that “Trav and I” are hoping to watch Clark play for the Indiana Fever once the next WNBA season kicks off.

Swifties Were ‘Going Crazy’ Over Clark
Clark was shocked by how popular she was with her fellow Swift fans, also known as Swifties, at these concerts. Indeed, the Swifties took photos of Clark and even threw friendship bracelets at her.
“People are just going crazy that I’m there,” Clark told Time Magazine at the time. “I thought people would be so in their own world, ready to see Taylor. And it was just completely the opposite.”
By the end of the night, Clark ended up with so many friendship bracelets that they cut off circulation in her arm!
“I had a ton, all the way up the arm. I had to take them off. My circulation was getting cut off,” Clark later recalled. “Everyone was just chucking their bracelets at me.”

Kelce Sounds Off
Afterwards, Kelce talked about meeting Clark at the concert.
“She was into the show, for sure,” he said of Clark. “She’s a Swiftie through and through.”
“I think she’s just having fun, going and taking her friends and family and getting everyone to experience Tay up there on stage, making the entire 70,000 people go nuts for three and a half hours,” he added.
Clark, Swift, and Kelce are all at the top of their game right now, so it’s no surprise that they’ve bonded so quickly. As for Clark, it’s nice seeing good things happen to good people. She deserves to go as high as her star will take her.
