O.J. Simpson’s estate is currently engaged in a legal battle with his son, Justin Simpson, over the house where O.J. lived at the time of his death in 2024.

In a remarkable turn of events, the estate, managed by attorney Malcolm LaVergne, has filed a lawsuit against Primary Holdings LLC, which is owned and operated by the younger Simpson.

They claim Justin moved into the house after O.J.’s death and refused to vacate it.

The estate argues that the house was purchased to protect O.J.’s financial interests and shield it from creditors, but now Justin’s refusal to leave or pay back these contributions is causing issues.

Simpson counters that he can do whatever he wants since he bought the house.

O.J. Simpson’s Estate And His Son Battling It Out

Of course, O.J. Simpson’s estate seems to be constantly engaged in financial issues. And it’s glorious, really.

This legal dispute with ‘The Juice’s’ son comes at a time when the estate is trying to liquidate assets to pay off significant debts, including over $100 million owed to the Goldman family due to interest on Simpson’s previous wrongful death lawsuit judgment.

LaVergne, as you’d expect, has fought tooth and nail. In the days after Simpson’s death, the estate attorney bitterly promised the Goldman family would “get zero, nothing.”

Since August, however, O.J.’s estate began auctioning off prized possessions – including his 1968 Heisman trophy – in an effort to pay off a portion of the money owed to the family of murder victim Ron Goldman.

Among the items auctioned were the aforementioned Heisman trophy, O.J.’s golf clubs (which he used in his neverending pursuit to find the real killer), his SUV, and even his driver’s license.

Even his pornography from prison was being hawked.

Who Is Justin Simpson?

Justin Ryan Simpson is the youngest child of O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown Simpson.

He was born on August 6, 1988, and was just five years old when his mother was brutally murdered in 1994, an event that thrust him into the public eye during his father’s highly publicized murder trial.

Raised by his grandparents during the trial, Justin later moved to Florida with his sister, Sydney, to live away from the media’s glare. He has a successful real estate career, so he likely knows the laws that allow him to stay in O.J. Simpson’s home. I don’t think he’s just trying to squat in the house.

Justin owns several properties and has an estimated net worth of around $3 million. LaVergne believes that his house isn’t as nice as O.J.’s, so he’s opted to stay there instead.

More importantly, why isn’t anybody investigating both Justin and O.J. Simpson’s estate for agreeing to the purchase to keep the home from being auctioned off to satisfy debts – particularly the Goldman family?
