Oh, Philly fan. Never change.

Fans of the Philadelphia Eagles celebrated their team’s dominant Super Bowl win with a parade late last week, in the fashion only they can truly pull off.

It’s a customary tradition, allowing players to celebrate their achievements with the fans who support them all season long.

What’s not a tradition, however? Throwing a beer can at your team’s general manager, leaving a noticeable cut and welt on his forehead.

Alas, general manager Howie Roseman was left with a bloodied dome during the hometown parade. While it was initially unclear how it happened, Roseman told NBC 10 that the cut was from a thrown beer can.

“I laughed at him a little bit when it happened, and I know he’s mad at me,” Defensive end Josh Sweat said, though he clarified he wasn’t the one to hit him right in the coconut.

Video Shows The Exact Moment Of Impact At Super Bowl Parade

Shortly thereafter, video from the Super Bowl parade surfaced showing the exact moment Roseman was hit in the head with a beer can.

It appears fans were throwing cans of their favorite beverage in the hopes that Eagles players and officials would catch them, like Stone Cold Steve Austin, and start pounding the beers.

Of course, this isn’t the WWE. And when beer cans are coming from all directions, it’s difficult to see them. Roseman clearly didn’t see this one coming.

To his credit, Roseman was not deterred in his excitement. He continued celebrating and was seen puffing on a cigar minutes after having his skull cracked by a Natty Lite.

In fact, he used the incident in his brief address to the crowd.

“I bleed for this city! Go Eagles!” he shouted, even as the gash was readily visible.

Cooper DeJean Also Had A Beer Can Incident

Super Bowl hero Cooper DeJean, who had a pick-six against Patrick Mahomes in the biggest game of his life, also apparently had a mishap with a beer can.

Though, he contends it was his own fault.

DeJean told Fox 29 that he hit himself with a “big a** can of Bud Light.”

Glad his hands were better during the game than they were trying to handle a beer can.

Perhaps throwing things isn’t the best idea for Eagles fans. Even if it’s allowed. This is, after all, a city that once pelted Santa Claus with snowballs just because they could.
