Like millions of other Americans, the pop star Taylor Swift and her Kansas City Chiefs tight end boyfriend Travis Kelce celebrated Thanksgiving last Thursday. So how exactly does one of the NFL’s top stars and the most famous person in the entire world spend Thanksgiving?
They go Swift-style.
Swift And Kelce’s Thanksgiving Holiday
Swift, 34, and Kelce, 35, reportedly celebrated Thanksgiving with both of their families. Indeed, the Swift family hosted the Kelce family at their home in Nashville, Tennessee.
Whatever they were eating must have been fuel – Kelce then left the next day to help the Chiefs defeat the Las Vegas Raiders in one of his better performances in a rather pedestrian season.
“Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving together with their families,” a source close to the couple told People Magazine. “It’s the first Thanksgiving they celebrated together.”
Last year, Swift was performing the South American leg of her Eras Tour around the Thanksgiving holiday. At the time, Kelce said that he would be “feasting on KFC because I won’t have anybody here.”
“Taylor and her family were excited to host the Kelces this year,” the source added. “[Travis’ brother] Jason was there with his family and kids too. It was very festive and special.”

Donna Kelce Sounds Off
After Thanksgiving, Swift headed to Kansas City with Kelce’s mother Donna to watch the Chiefs take on the Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium. Just one week before Thanksgiving, Donna had claimed that Swift likely would not be joining the Kelce’s for the holiday.
“I don’t think so,” Donna said when asked about this on the Today show. “She’s kind of busy right now. She still has her tour to do.”
Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, which has made over $1 billion, wraps up in Vancouver on December 8.
Donna went on to say that “football is always the holidays” for her family. She then claimed that the Kelces wouldn’t even be having a Thanksgiving dinner.
“I think we’re just going to be at the football game,” she claimed at the time.
Clearly, those plans changed in a big way!
Swift Is ‘Leaning On’ Kelce
This comes amidst reports that Swift is “leaning on” Kelce more than ever as she prepares to end her Eras Tour after two years and 149 shows. Sources close to Swift have claimed that the singer is struggling to figure out what will be next for her.
“This tour has been her life and the people on the tour have been her family and as it draws to a close, she has been super emotional – leaning on Travis and her family more than ever,” a source told Daily Mail.
“She is such a busy body,” the insider continued. “She knows she must just take some time to enjoy her successes, but she really doesn’t know what to do to fill her time aside from writing songs. Taylor cannot be bored and doesn’t really know what she is going to do with her time.”
The source went on to say that Taylor “has not discussed” becoming a mother as of late. However, it’s something that she’s frequently talked about in the past.
“Her friends believe that she should use this time to take things to the next level with Travis and that it is the perfect time to start a family of her own,” the insider explained.
“She has had everything she has ever wanted and everyone who knows her believes she would make the best mom ever,” the source added.”Taylor has not discussed this with them but has talked about wanting a family in the past.”
Swift and Kelce have been dating since September of last year. Judging by their Thanksgiving holiday, it seems that they’re still going strong. Only time will tell if Swift and Kelce are able to stand the test of time as a couple!
