Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is confirming he met WNBA star Caitlin Clark at a recent Taylor Swift show. And he’s got some thoughts on the basketball sensation.
Kelce is the best tight end in football, and a sure-fire Hall of Famer – so he’s the perfect person to ask about the WNBA’s brightest star.
As Bounding Into Sports reported, Clark recently took some time off the court to take in the pop star’s Eras Tour show in Indianapolis.
Attending the concert at Lucas Oil Stadium, Clark was super-excited about the experience, sharing an Instagram story she captioned in all caps, “I’m fired up!!”
A reporter for Indiana’s pro basketball teams reported on X that Clark and Kelce were in the same box, with the Kansas City Chiefs star right in front of her.
“I’m told Travis Kelce is at Night 2 of Taylor Swift in Indy tonight, sitting in front of Caitlin Clark in the same box,” the reporter wrote. “The Chiefs play on Monday Night Football.”

Travis Kelce Says Caitlin Clark Is ‘Awesome’
During a recent episode of the podcast “New Heights,” Travis Kelce confirmed that he met Caitlin Clark at the show.
“(The concert) was fun, saw Caitlin Clark there, got to meet Caitlin. She’s awesome, she loves being out there in Indianapolis, says it’s a fun city, and we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart,” Kelce said.
“Played high school ball, college ball, pro ball all out here in the Midwest, and it was cool catching up with her.”
Jason Kelce asked if Clark’s dance moves were as smooth as her passing game.
“(Clark) was into the show for sure, she was there with her mom and a few friends she had been – I think this was like her third or fourth show she had been to,” he said. “She’s a Swiftie through and through, man.”
Motivated By The Show
Whether it was watching his girlfriend in concert or meeting Caitlin Clark at the shows, something sure seemed to inspire Travis Kelce this past weekend.
Kelce hauled in a career-high 14 receptions for 100 yards in the Chiefs win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
It seems like only yesterday that we were worrying his jet-setting lifestyle or his Uncle Rico haircut was starting to drag his game down. Now, in the past two games, he has 24 catches for 190 yards and a touchdown.
Reports of his demise were greatly exaggerated. And the Chiefs played through his lack of production early in the season and remain undefeated.
