Taylor Swift, appearing on the “New Heights” podcast hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce, humorously addressed male sports fans, jokingly stating that she knows exactly what they’d like to see during NFL games.

The 35-year-old pop star, dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, made her first-ever podcast appearance to announce her 12th album and discuss her career and relationship.

NFL fans have previously expressed frustration over frequent TV shots of Swift cheering for Kelce during games. But that hasn’t deterred her in any way, folks.

“Thanks for having me on my favorite podcast,” Swift said after Yukon Cornelius, I mean … Jason, introduced her. “As we all know, you guys have a lot of male sports fans that listen to your podcast.”

“And I think we all know that if there’s one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens, it’s more of me.”

NFL Fans Want More of Taylor Swift?

Whatever you might think of Taylor Swift, that’s a pretty funny joke. At least she’s admitting that her overexposure and the NFL’s insistence on airing more of the contrived relationship with Kelce is wearing thin.

At least she seems to be getting it. Finally.

Swift was visibly shocked when she was booed during the Super Bowl last year. After being told she’s the greatest thing since sliced bread by the NFL and the hometown Chiefs fans, the “Bad Blood” singer was met with a harsh dose of reality.

Swift, shown on the Jumbotron during pre-game festivities, was clearly taken aback by the crowd’s reaction. She gave a side-eye look, did a double-take, and then leaned down to say something to the person in front of her.

“What’s going on?” she asked.

Travis was practically broken up about it after the game, lamenting that he felt “helpless” that his woman would be subject to such a harsh reaction.

About to Get More of Tay Tay

Whether or not Taylor Swift is joking about being in male sports fans’ “spaces,” it seems she’s about to give them more of what they “want.”

Swift is excited for the upcoming NFL season, as it will be the first full season since she started dating Kelce, during which she won’t be juggling a grueling tour schedule.

Having wrapped her record-breaking Eras Tour in December 2024, Swift is apparently looking forward to a less chaotic period with more time to support Kelce at his games. And more Chiefs games mean more screen time for the pop singer—every reaction to every play, plastered on the jumbotron.

Kelce confirmed as much during the podcast.

“She tried to get to as many as she could last year, and she came to a lot,” Kelce said. “We’ll have Tay representing over at Arrowhead [this season].”

Great. Can’t wait.
