Netflix has announced that they will be airing a special entitled, G.R.O.A.T.: The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady
Since retiring from the NFL at the end of last season, it seems as if we’ve seen Tom Brady a little bit of everywhere. When he isn’t helping run the Raiders, he’s throwing footballs off of yachts or making various TV appearances. Now? His fame has landed him in the hot seat as he will be the subject of a comedy roast on an upcoming Netflix special.

G.R.O.A.T.: The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady will feature celebrities who will crack wise on the seven-time Super Bowl Champion in all his glory. The special will be hosted by the one and only Roastmaster General himself, Jeff Ross.
Ross is well-known among the comedy set for these types of events, as well as having experience making jokes at the expense of famous athletes. Shaquille O’Neal, Peyton Manning, Emmitt Smith, and other sports legends have experienced the funnyman’s venomous vitriol.
Tom Brady, who became a pop culture icon due to his enormous on-field success and an exciting life off it, will give the dais plenty to work with. After 25 years in the public eye and a high-profile marriage to model Gisele Bundchen, the former Patriot and Buccaneer transcended the game.
The roast of Brady will take place at The Forum in Los Angeles, with the other guests (other than Ross) yet to be announced. Although it’s expected that former teammates like Rob Gronkowski, Randy Moss, and others may join in on the fun to take jabs at their former QB.
Netflix vice president of stand-up and comedy Robbie Praw even got in on the act, saying that the network “can’t wait to burn three-time Super Bowl-losing quarterback Tom Brady, who only went back to the NFL in order to delay this roast.”
