Tennis star Paula Badosa has announced her split from boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas by posting Instagram photos from her 28th birthday celebration in Dubai, where she wore a “sexy and single” sash.
The couple, who began their on-off relationship in the summer of 2023, have unfollowed each other on Instagram and removed traces of their romance from their profiles.
Badosa isn’t showing any signs of dwelling on the matter.
She captioned her birthday carousel with messages like “Chapter 28, here we go!” and offered a little glimpse into her celebration, including some cake and some poolside fun.

Among the several snaps, Badosa sports various sashes with some funny messages. First up, “28 and still a 10.” And yes, yes you are, Paula.
Then, of course, there is the reference to Tsitsipas: “Sexy and Single.”
That’s going to come as great news to many, many a single gentleman. Especially when she shared some other images looking elegant in an evening gown, and frolicking in a bikini with her friends.
Paula Badosa has been soaking up some sun and good vibes in Dubai, as well she should, having to work her way to recovery from injury and hopefully a successful season on the tour in 2026.
It’s been a rather difficult 2025 for the tennis star. Badosa had a tough year marked by an early Wimbledon exit and that ol’ breakup with her boyfriend.
But she’s not letting any of it get her down.

Girl’s day
Paula Badosa managed to find her way into a bikini Instagram war last month as well, something we certainly won’t complain about.
Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk sparked controversy by commenting in an interview that her struggles against top players like Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek stem from their higher testosterone levels and physical advantages.
The outlet that interviewed Kostyuk later clarified that the comments were taken out of context. However, it prompted Sabalenka to post her own bikini photos, showing she’s every bit as feminine as the next athlete.
Aryna posted Instagram bikini photos from a Dubai resort getaway with Badosa.
“Much-needed girl’s day with my bestie,” she captioned the images while clearly showing off some top-notch feminine assets.
Badosa’s birthday cake had a frosting message which read, “Older, wiser, and hotter than ever.”
