Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso are known for their basketball skills, where the dynamic duo can be seen playing in the WNBA for the Chicago Sky. Both are in their rookie seasons after Cardoso was selected third, and Reese was selected seventh in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

During their college days, Reese played at Maryland and LSU, where she won a National Championship with the Tigers. Cardoso played at Syracuse before transferring to South Carolina, where she became a two-time National Champion.

But now both are in Chicago, making an impression on the sports fans located throughout the Windy City. On Tuesday, they both were invited to the iconic Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, to throw the ceremonial first pitch.

Cardoso and Reese both got a chance to show off their arms instead of their jump shots. By the looks of it, they had a great time at Wrigley Field.

First, it was Cardoso who delivered a pitch well past home plate despite being at least a foot behind the pitching rubber on the mound. Then it was Reese’s turn, who also had no issues reaching home plate, delivering a pitch just outside the strike zone, depending on who the ump is.

Here were Cardoso and Reese’s throws.

We’ve seen countless popular figures fail to reach the plate, so credit to the newest members of the Sky basketball team for switching sports for a day without missing a beat.
