Chicago Sky guard Hailey Van Lith recently set social media ablaze, sharing vacation photos on Instagram that featured her in various swimsuits.
More impressive, as she is recovering from ankle surgery in October, some of the snaps showed her using a mobility scooter and wearing a walking boot.
She still looked amazing.
“I think the scooter made me even flyer,” she joked.
Indeed, it did. Van Lith’s post saw nearly 200,000 likes in just a couple of days.

Oops, she did it again
As a first-year pro, Hailey Van Lith averaged just 3.5 points per game in limited action after a stellar college career with the TCU Horned Frogs.
She was a very popular player at TCU, named a WBCA Coaches’ All-American in her final year before being drafted by the WNBA. She’s even more popular online, boasting over 1.3 million followers on Instagram alone.
That popularity contributed to her swimsuit photos going viral. And it’s not the first time, even this week.
She also posted some images in a bikini, with the caption, “mandando besitos,” or, “sending kisses,” earlier in the week.
Please, send more, Hailey!

Van Lith also appeared in the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, which will no doubt fuel anticipation for her potential bigger role next season.
She’d surely like to show off her on-court assets during her sophomore campaign. We hope she gets a chance after recovering from the surgery.
“People have been labeling this as a ‘comeback,’ like I’m getting my lick back kind of thing,” Van Lith told SI. “And I don’t think that necessarily aligns with me personally. I wouldn’t say that this was a comeback year, because I never thought that I left.”
“My initial reaction was, I was intimidated,” Van Lith says of the swimsuit shoot. “I didn’t know if I would be comfortable in that kind of setting, but I wanted to try something that I had never tried.”
“I would regret it a lot if I let my insecurities or my reservations hold me back from it.”
She’s got nothing to be intimidated about.
