It has now been confirmed by news outlets Breitbart and Fox News that the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) and their longstanding war against the football team formerly known as the Redskins received a whopping amount of cash from notorious “Man who broke the bank” George Soros, who is largely involved in pushing leftist, globalist policies through funding often provided by his Open Society Foundation.

The NCAI worked for decades to push the Washington Redskins to change its name. Due to their efforts and increasing public pressure, the team dropped the “Redskins” moniker in 2020. By 2022, the team adopted the new name, the Washington Commanders.

Recently, the Native American Guardians Association (NAGA) challenged the actions of the NCAI regarding the renaming of sports teams. NAGA, led by Eunice Davidson, initiated a campaign urging the Washington Commanders to revert to their former name, “Redskins.”

They sent a formal letter to the team’s leadership, asking for a renewed bond with the American Indian community and a return to the original name.

Fox News reported that the NCAI has influenced various sports entities, from local schools to the NFL, in retiring over 200 Native-themed mascots since 2019 and supporting related legislative bans.

The NCAI is funded by several prominent donors, including George Soros’ Open Society Foundations. Other notable contributors include the Ford Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, which donated $26 million.

Eunice Davidson, president of NAGA and a Dakota Sioux, criticized the NCAI for its efforts to ban certain names and images, suggesting it contributes to erasing a culture. Surprisingly, the NCAI, which some believe aims to remove elements of American and Native American history, receives funding from U.S. taxpayer dollars through various governmental departments.
