As 49ers tight end George Kittle was lighting up the Dallas Cowboys for three touchdowns on Sunday Night Football, he had a surprise hidden under his jersey. Embracing the bitterness of the rivalry between the two teams, the San Francisco superstar was wearing a t-shirt that said “F*** DALLAS”, and he proudly revealed it late in the game when teammate Jordan Mason scored a touchdown going away.

Cowboys defensive star Micah Parsons was not impressed, and he spoke on his podcast The Edge on Bleacher Report about how he felt disrespected by George Kittle’s stunt. Despite the fact that the Cowboys have been notorious trash talkers in the past, Parsons said he took the move personally.

“Kittle’s my guy but [I’m gonna] say this: laugh now, cry later. We got something for that, just trust,” Parsons said. “If we see them again, just trust. And we gonna put it just like that. I ain’t gonna put too much on it. You gonna make it personal? We can make it personal, that’s cool.”

While the bad blood between the two franchises dates back decades, their recent clashes for control of the conference have rekindled the conflict. As two of the most storied franchises in the history of the NFC, the ‘Niners and ‘Boys have also squared off in the playoffs for the last three seasons. The 49ers have won the last two postseason contests between the teams.

And that’s where the two teams would have to face each other next, in a win-or-go-home scenario in January. The stage has been set by Parsons’ comments, and if the response from 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel is any indication? It would be fun to see the pair have a re-match.

This time, under different circumstances and with an extra shot of revenge on the Cowboys’ minds.“It was already personal before the game started … 42-10, I don’t think you want to see us again. It might be a little worse,” Samuel forcefully stated on “Up & Adams” Tuesday morning. “I don’t think he wants to see us again.”
