Usually when you rip into someone’s wife and call them a “succubus” things tend not to turn out so well. However, UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland, not known for holding back his thoughts, might be onto something in the case of fellow fighter Ian Garry’s wife, Lyla.

For context, there is a fourteen year age difference between Garry and his wife, who was also previously married. To add some spice to this all, she also came out with a book called “How to be a WAG” which is all about how older women can go into full cougar-mode and find athletic, young and rich men to get into a romantic relationship with. (For those of you who aren’t into soccer, “WAG” is Brit slang for “wives and girlfriends.”)

It started as fans online first began to call out Layla’s supposed ‘predatory’ behavior, and from there Strickland decided to take it upon himself to offer his fellow UFC bro a hand in his own way.

“Guys, I never talk about anybody’s spouses, but this sh*t ain’t right,” Strickland said in a video posted to various social media.

“It ain’t f—ng right. I got to talk about it. Ian Garry, I remember when I met you dude, it was in New York. You were with this fine a– girl, she had the little nipple coverings. We all f—-ng seen it right, everybody f—ng seen it but I remember thinking to myself, there ain’t something right about that girl. There’s something about that woman that ain’t f—-ng right.

“The way she walked, the way she looked, the way she talked, I knew it. Now I’m finding out you’re 26, she’s f—-ng 40. The ex f—-ng husband lives with you, you took the last name. Motherf–r she wrote a book on how to be a WAG, I didn’t know what a WAG was until now dude.”

“This sh-t ain’t right dude, she’s a succubus. You got to run away bro. Hot girls are a dime a dozen, we’ll get your ring girls, we’ll get you two at the same time bro. You got to pull the rip cord man, it ain’t f—-ng right my friend. You got to pull that f—ng rip cord, I’m here for you, the MMA community is here for you to do the right thing Ian Garry.”

It was only a matter of time before Kayla herself decided to respond to Strickland’s accusations, and in the weirdest way she seemed to have made things worse in the court of public opinion by claiming that her book about hot older women latching onto rich younger guys was all just ‘satire.’

“I wrote a book called How to be a WAG, now that statement itself is a little bit of a stretch, I can hardly call myself an author of an 11-page audible-only satire story that was written in 2010,” she said. “That satirical book if you listen to it is really silly and anybody who takes it as fact has completely missed the mark.”

Sure Lyla, sure, the whole thing is just a coincidence… But what do you all think? Let us know in the comments below.
