It was mysterious how a Washington woman vanished recently.

But it looks like law enforcement now has a lead.

The Daily Mail reports:

The hunt for a missing medical assistant has taken a dramatic twist with the arrest of NBA G League star Chance Comanche on a charge of first-degree kidnapping.

Marayna Rogers, 23, disappeared on December 6 while visiting Las Vegas from her home in Washington State.

She was last seen getting into a car with her friend Sakari Harnden, 19, who was also arrested on a kidnapping charge on December 13.

Harnden has been charged with ‘detaining Rogers against her will and without her consent for the purpose of killing her and/or inflicting bodily harm’.

Comanche, 27, was seized by the FBI on Friday and booked into Sacramento County Jail on the same charge.

The Mail added, “The Stockton Kings center who has 13 appearances this season Comanche was in Portland, Oregon, for the Kings’ game against Rip City Remix the day before Rodgers’ disappearance.”

Bigger Than Basketball

“By December 12 he was back in California, playing in Stockton’s home defeat to Salt Lake City,” the story noted.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, but if evidence suggests foul play on Comanche’s part, the next game will be the least of his concerns.
