As California faces an onslaught of issues impacting the taxpayers of the state who are already facing crisis after crisis, one brave Democrat has chosen to instead make banning tackle football for kids his personal crusade

Tackle football bans for children are once again being brought up before state legislators in California because they must have solved their soaring overdose problem, uncontrollable homeless crisis, and all the rampant crime overnight without telling anybody, thus leaving tackle football as the last existential crisis to deal with.

Democrat Assemblyman Kevin McCarty has brought forward a bill this week that proposes banning tackle football for children under the age of 12.

According to OutKick.com, “California lawmakers will debate whether or not to ban tackle football for children under 12 in an effort advocates say would protect kids from brain damage or other medical issues. Critics of the bill include football coaches who warn a ban on tackle football would cut off youths from an important source of physical activity.”

I know what you’re thinking right? ‘What a weenie‘ or something like that.

If they happen to pass this stupid proposed bill, it would be set to take effect starting in 2026. This bill would extend existing limitations, which currently prohibit full-contact practices for high school and youth football teams during the offseason and restrict teams to two practices per week during the preseason and regular season.

While no state has yet banned tackle football, efforts have been made in New York and Illinois who apparently solved all their urgent problems too – like New York’s illegal alien influx.
