While Stuhlmann won’t be hitting the courts anytime soon, she’s not going to go completely into hiding either as she’s eager to re-engage with her fanbase.

Stuhlmann, who has turned her passion for tennis into a successful social media career, as reported in December, underwent anterior cervical disc replacement surgery to address injuries from the accident.

In a post stating she was going to take a break from social media to focus on her recovery, she also expressed her gratitude towards her surgeon and the medical staff at New York City’s Hospital for Special Surgery for their care and support during this challenging time.

Post-surgery, Rachel Stuhlmann popped back online to show her gnarly new scar and even remind people she’s got a 2024 calendar out to plan out the new year (assuming that’s why people are buying her calendar in the first place).

“Welcoming 2024 with open arms!” Stuhlmann posted on Instagram.

“I have a feeling this is going to be one of the craziest, most exciting, and most important years for our sport. Excited to embrace it all!”
