A Dallas County judge has ruled that Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones must take a paternity test as part of a legal dispute with a 27-year-old woman, Alexandra Davis.

Davis contends that Jones is her biological father. She sued him in 2022.

Somebody needs to get Maury Povich on the case.

Jerry Jones – You Might Be The Father?

This ruling comes as part of the ongoing lawsuit that Davis filed against Jones alleging that he is her biological father and that she was conceived from a relationship between Jones and her mother in the mid-1990s.

Judge Sandra Jackson issued the ruling following a hearing earlier this month in which Davis’ and Jones’ legal teams argued over whether the woman has a presumed father, who is not the Dallas Cowboys owner.

Jones’ legal team has not yet responded to the ruling, but they are expected to appeal.

An attorney for the woman celebrated the order for a paternity test as a “huge victory.”

“Alex is in a position where she really no longer has to hide her truth or live under the thumb of fear and maybe she’s going to finally get some peace and we hope other families will have that same benefit from the judge following the law,” the attorney said.

Jones’ team has argued that the father must be the man Davis’s mother was married to in the ’90s.

In 2020, a woman filed a lawsuit against Jones, accusing him of sexual assault in 2018. The case was initially dismissed but was later revived after a Texas appellate court reversed the trial court’s decision to grant a motion to dismiss filed by Jones’ attorneys.

The trial is set to take place next month.

Racy photos cropped up in 2014 involving Jerry Jones and some cheerleaders, though he dismissed them as a misrepresentation and an extortion effort.
