Now that spring is here, much of the sports world is focused on the March Madness NCAA Tournaments, but predicting a perfect bracket is impossible. The real craze is what’s been going on with Minnesota High School hockey hair in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
It’s not a new phenomenon for The Gopher State, but others around the nation may not be familiar with how serious growing out flowing locks of hair gets for ‘The State of Hockey.’ It’s gotten to the point where local publications put together an All Hockey Hair team each year, and keep in mind, this has been going on for over a decade in Minnesota (since 2011).
The next time you’re looking for some inspiration to find a new look, just remember that no one does it better than Minnesota High School hockey hair each and every year. If this dream sounds like something a young lad wants to go for, they might want to forget about getting their hair cut any time soon. This type of success doesn’t happen overnight.
Growing up in Minnesota, you may not have the same skillset as some of the top athletes in the nation. But there is one thing you can control, and that’s making sure you have some of the best lettuce around. If so, you just might have what it takes to make next year’s All Hockey Hair Team.

At this point, we’re wondering if they even let you on the ice in Minnesota if your hair doesn’t flow like the Mississippi River. We wouldn’t want to risk going against tradition.
