Los Angeles Lakers star and all-time great NBA player LeBron James has been in a giving mood a whole lot recently. That’s typically the case given the off-court work he’s done since entering the Association as a teenager all the way back in 2003.

The Duquesne men’s basketball team found this out big time immediately ahead of their first-round matchup with BYU in the NCAA Tournament.

LeBron legitimately gifted the entire team a pair of his LeBron James XXI kicks. The four-time NBA champion had a pair of his white and blue sneakers delivered to the 11th-seeded team. It was a pretty cool scene. The players were super excited.

LeBron James Does Some Good With Record-Breaking Show Deal

Back in 2015, James signed a lifetime contract with Nike that could end up paying him out north of $1 billion throughout the duration of the deal.

Duquesne heads into Thursday’s game against BYU with a 24-11 record. They are 9.5-point underdogs. Perhaps, these new kicks will prove lucky for the mid-major program.
