If you’re like every other sports fan, you’re tired of the very obvious, very ham-fisted Kelce psyop. Thankfully, it should at least be partly over now that Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce announced his retirement for real this time.

Jason Kelce Retires And Cries Like a Baby

Eagles center Jason Kelce, widely regarded as one of the best in the game, is calling it a career after 13 seasons in Philadelphia. Kelce was a steal, picked by Philly in the 6th round of the 2011 draft.

Since being drafted, he has shined his entire career – becoming a six-time All-Pro and of course, Super Bowl Champion.

It’s with all that in mind that one can understand why a big, tough dude would break down and cry at the end of such a stellar career.

Right off the bat, Kelce breaks down before he can even get his first words out. As the NFL’s social media guru points out, that is a man who cares about – dare I say loves – the game of football.

Just think about it. That guy slams his head into other men who weigh over 300 pounds for a living. It’s his idea of fun and a good time. It’s hard seeing grown men cry.

It didn’t get any easier after he finally got off to his start, either:

And his little brother Travis, also a sure-fire Hall of Famer and Super Bowl Champion, couldn’t keep it together for big bro, either:

Enough With the Kelces

Look, don’t get me wrong. I am pleasantly surprised that the Kelce astroturf psyop centers around an offensive lineman for a change. These guys may earn their bags in the NFL, but they don’t get nearly enough of the love they deserve in terms of their importance to the game.

That may be changing a little bit, with the emphasis on linemen over running backs, but it’s still nice to see. There’s only so much Patrick Mahomes we can take.

But still. Enough with the Kelces. Jason wasn’t a pop figure until his little brother started dating a pop star. And for fans, we don’t care about that.
