Fans of singer Taylor Swift are going wild after her boyfriend Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, quoted her song “Bad Blood” while assessing Kenny Pickett’s exit from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Travis Quotes Taylor’s Song
While appearing on his brother Jason’s New Heights podcast, Travis discussed rumors of ill feelings between Kenny and the Steelers in the wake of him leaving the team.
“Kenny and the Steelers, their relationship ended in a little ‘baaaad blood,'” Travis sang to the tune of Taylor’s hit song from her 1989 album. “Because Kenny is saying he preferred to move on.”
Daily Mail reported that Taylor’s fans immediately went into a frenzy over this.
“Travis kelce never beating the biggest 1989 stan allegations!” one fan wrote on social media, with another adding, “Travis Kelce proving once again he’s a 1989 stan belting out Bad Blood on @newheightshow.”
“Travis Kelce belting out bad blood unprovoked on @newheightshow HE’S ONE OF US FR,” another fan exclaimed.
The Eagles legend Jason responded to his brother by saying that a fresh start in Philadelphia might be exactly what Kenny needs.
“Sometimes it’s the fit, the system… whatever it is he gets to have a fresh start now and come over to Philadelphia,” he said. “Obviously he’ll be behind Jalen Hurts and have an opportunity to learn and grow and play with some really good players.”
“Hopefully this is a better fit for Kenny and he can really maximize his potential in Philadelphia now,” Jason added.

Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce’s Relationship
Travis and Taylor, who went public with their relationship in September of last year, have been enjoying some downtime ever since she finished the latest leg of her Eras Tour in Singapore earlier this month.
“They’re focused on rest and recuperation and relaxing at home and having low-key and chill time together,” a source told US Weekly.
The insider went on to say that Swift and Kelce “intend on spending quality time together and with friends and family,” which includes “small, intimate gatherings” at home and private outings.
“They don’t want to spend too much time apart,” the source added.
Another insider claimed that Kelce has already become Swift’s latest muse.
“Taylor has already written songs about Travis,” this source said. “She’s written at least two songs. They have to do with their love story and falling in love with him.”
Taylor And Travis Are ‘Still Very Happy’
A third source told People Magazine that Swift and Kelce are “still very happy” as they enjoy the off-season.
“They are spending time in Los Angeles together,” the insider said. “They’re still very happy. They’re so cute together.”
Last week, Swift and Kelce were spotted at Gucci’s annual event after Oscar’s party known as “The Party.”
“He was protective of her and she was delightful and glowing — they seemed very happy together and loving the night,” the source said.
The Mail reported that Travis has spent a whopping $8 million on his months-long romance with Taylor. He’s reportedly spent over $1.2 million on private jet rides alone so that he could support his girlfriend at her shows around the globe.
