People have opinions about LeBron James. Now, they’re likely to have even more.
For those who are anti-LeBron for whatever reason, King James’ latest interaction with a fan – a young kid – isn’t going to do anything to improve their opinion of him.
After Team USA won their gold medal match against France, James and company went to hit the clubs.
Right after James got out of his ride, a seemingly nice young boy approached the superstar for a photo.

LeBron James Has One Less Fan?
What an incredible moment. As soon as James gets out of the car, you can see the boy approach him for a photo. Immediately, James puts his hand up and his body language seems to indicate that he’s chastising the young man for daring to ask for a photo.
You can even see James stick his finger or hand in the kid’s face.
While you can’t tell from the video what James said to the boy, his body language clearly shows a curt dismissal.
Unbelievable. Is that a way to treat an excited young kid who just wants a picture? And clearly, LeBron wasn’t just in a bad mood.
Watch the video to the end, and you can see James bust out an impromptu little dance at the door of the club.
Team USA Celebrates After Gold
Maybe there is a reasonable explanation. After all, James and Company had just got done celebrating with several bottles of champagne:
And frankly, maybe he was just tired. They did just win gold at the Olympics.
Further, this writer sort of understands the “anti-fan” mentality that can seep in for superstars. Put yourself in LeBron’s shoes – would you want to stop and take pictures and sign autographs every single time you leave the house? Doubt it!
Nevertheless, that kind of thing goes with the territory. It’s the price superstars pay for stardom: those fans and their money are the only reason James gets paid tens of millions of dollars to throw a rubber ball at a hoop.
No fans, no stardom. Simple as that.
And you can bet millions of LeBron James fans have now watched him rudely dismiss a young kid.
